National office grants same-sex benefits

Church House, the national office of the Anglican Church of Canada, has decided to extend health benefits to same-sex partners of its employees.

Archdeacon Jim Boyles, General Secretary of the Anglican Church of Canada, reported recently to staff that the national office's management team had decided that "all employees are equally eligible for benefits."
