Nassau and Thompson celebrate 100th anniversary

EAST CHICAGO, IN-Nassau and Thompson office products celebrates its loath anniversary this year because, in the words of its president, Larry Nassau, "We've kept up with the times."

The "times" began in 1898 when Charles Nassau (Larry's great great uncle) and Harry Thompson started a newspaper distribution business in East Chicago. They sold newspapers, magazines and stationery and were open seven days a week, 5:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Today, Nassau and Thompson's primary product is office supplies and furniture and computer supplies.
