One of my fondest childhood memories is sitting amongst my mom's friends during their monthly book club meetings. More than 24 years later, as I count the hours until the second meeting of my own newly founded book club, I can't help but feel honored to have witnessed first hand the evolution of that book club. I feel even more nostalgic because, although I was only four years of age, I can still recall the camaraderie and trust that these women shared; they later amplified my relationships with women.
