To some it was implausible. Others said it was impossible.
Curt Grelle and his wife, Julie, heard the warnings about the microbrewing business.
The central Indiana market was flooded, they were told. Microbrews were a passing fad, they were warned. And the statistics were incontrovertible. One of six microbrewers nationwide fell flat, according to the Denver-based Association of Brewers. In Canada, nearly one in two microbrewers drowned in a sea of suds.
