New England: The knowledge region

A stunning 90 percent of New England households and 96 percent of the region's "opinion leaders" think educational institutions help define New England as a region, according to the Future of New England survey recently undertaken by the New England Board of Higher Education and the John W. McCormack Institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
