Administrators, teachers, and counsellors are confronted with more ethical and legal responsibilities as their professional responsibilities extend beyond the traditional domains. The increase in school violence coupled with a concern for individual fights poses several ethical and legal challenges for school personnel who must strike a balance between the fights of the individual student and the protection of students from harm.
