Toledo expands enterprise zone for business development

The City of Toledo has received approval to expand the geographical boundariesof its current enterprise zone. Approval was granted by the Ohio Department of Development and announced in mid-July.

The enterprise zone provides a ten year real and personal property tax exemption to businesses making a capital investment. The investment can be property such as real estate or capital equipment and applies to all businesses within the enterprise zone boundaries.
