Still far to go on 'millennium bug' problem: Newman

With the Year 2000 deadline approaching, few Australian agencies have addressed all their `millennium bug' problems, according to Maurice Newman, head of the Federal Government's committee on the issue. He has suggested that Australia's economic forecasts may have to be downgraded to take the problem into account.
