Middle East orientation--history and culture

The Armed Forces of the United States operate globally. Training diligently, servicemen and women can be called to operate anywhere in the world at any time. Working in the global village necessitates dealing with and in differing cultures. To this end, members of the United States Navy Reserve attended a two-day seminar on the history and culture of the Middle East.
