The effects of using a computer program, which provides information about a university counseling center on the level of student knowledge about the center are described. The Counseling Center Self-Guided Tour (CCSGT) computer program covers such topics as location, working hours, and type of services offered; presents information about common student concerns (e.g., study skills, test anxiety, and eating disorders); and suggests ways of coping with them.
