In the woodlands operations of Scierie Parent (Parent Sawmill), a division of Montreal-based Kruger Inc., daily log quality supervision goes far beyond just checking lengths. Thanks to a consistent and hands-on quality control regime started two years back, Kruger is even helping loggers reconsider the gear they buy in the future.
