PID Shows Strength of Daegu Textiles

"Preview in Daegu" was held from March 19th to 22nd in Daegu, the third largest city in Korea. This trade show attracted 1,730 foreign buyers and 13,570 local buyers for a total of 15,300 during the four-day period. Thirty-five of the foreign buyers came from the Middle East including Iran and Kuwait despite the outbreak of the war in Iraq. "We wanted to see what kind of new materials Daegu can supply," said a Japanese buyer who manufactures apparel in China using Korean textiles.
