Teacher enrichment of prekindergarten curriculum with sign language

Abstract. This investigation tracked one prekindergarten teacher's experience, over a three-year period, to determine if a relationship exists between student outcomes and a teacher's signing ability. The students' receptive English vocabulary gains indicate a corresponding increase in the teacher's mastery of sign language technique.
