ISA's executive director to retire March 31, 1999

Research Triangle Park, N.C.-Glenn E Harvey, ISA's executive director since 1977, has announced plans to retire effective March 31, 1999. ISA has begun searching for a new executive director to replace the long-term incumbent.

Well known throughout the measurement and control community, Harvey joined the ISA staff in 1967 when ISA was a $1 million, 12,000-member technical society He was named assistant executive director in 1974. Since being named executive director in 1977, he has presided over ISAs growth to a $22 million, 47,000-member organization with 120 employees.
