Award established for international investigative reporting

A new $20,000 award recognizing the best international investigative reporting in the world has been announced by the Center for Public Integrity, a nonprofit, nonpartisan investigative research organization based in Washington, D.C.

The award, part of the Center's new International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), will go to a journalist or team of journalists who have demonstrated excellence in transnational investigative reporting the previous year.
