The Met's 1997-98 season mav have ended officially in April, but in unofficial reality it still goes on. When the company starts its annual round of free concertized opera in the parks next Tuesday on Central Park's Great Lawn, there's not likely to be a letdown. For example, the Kirov's (and very occasionally the Met's) thrilling mezzo, Larissa Diadkova, will probably scorch the new grass as Azucena in Verdi's II trovatore. In May, Met artistic director James Levine wound up his orchestra's annual deluxe series of Carnegie Hall concerts with a performance of Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe Suite ...
