Reserve and active units deploy nationwide to test, demonstrate echelon above corps communications.
Complementary training and acquisition efforts, to enhance the effectiveness of the active-reserve mix and upgrade tactical satellite communications capabilities, are reaching critical milestones. This month, the U.S. Army begins Grecian Firebolt '98, a nationwide communications exercise focusing on training dozens of reservecomponent units and also beginning operational testing and evaluation of its newest satellite terminal.
