It is late May, less than two months before the first dehydration cramps of training camp. But already, there isn't a blocking assignment, pass route or defensive alignment in their entirely new playbook that the Raiders have not practiced.

Redskins players have taken the field in small groups to work on individual skills and techniques with their position coaches approximately 50 times since February 1.

For the last month and a half, Elvis Grbac and the other Chiefs quarterbacks have spent about 20 hours per week in a classroom, studying film and going over plays with their coach.
