Christian Ceplecha, O.S.B., of St. Procopius Abbey and Benedictine University,lisle, Illinois, died suddenly on May 29,2002. He was born on July 14,1927, in Berwyn, Illinois, professed vows as a monk of St. Procopius Abbey in 1947, and was ordained to the priesthood in 1953.
