'Jackass' -- the lawsuit: Hot Springs man, Jack Ass, claims MTV damaging his reputation, life's work

HOT SPRINGS - Maybe You've heard of "Jackass" the television program, Then came "Jackass the Movie." Both are full of self-induced pratfalls and dangerous stupid-guy tricks that many Americans apparently find hugely entertaining.

The cable show started two years ago on MTV, and the movie opened Oct. 25 to mixed reviews.

"Jackass the Movie" popped up to No. I in box office receipts the first week of release and has taken in a cool $63 million in just six weeks. It is rated "R" for "dangerous, sometimes extremely crude stunts, language and nudity," according to its web site.

Now meet Jack Ass ...
