The Association for the Advancement of Psychotherapy is greatly saddened by the death of Dr. Adler, one of the founders of the organization. He served on its board until his death. Everyone who had the privilege to be in his presence was enthralled by his brilliance and his ability to zero in on the main points of a problem, yet his gentle courtliness and deep humanity never made one feel overawed. He was in many ways the living embodiment of the Adlerian canon.
