MADISON - With no history and nothing to build from, to say that Madison County Bank (MCB) is doing well would be an understatement.

Madison County Bank opened on Feb. 14, 2002, and is the only bank domiciled in Madison County. The bank will open a permanent location in March.

Less than one year in business, the bank already has a loan portfolio totaling more than $9 million and more than $12 million in deposits.
