Former student gets seven-year sentence in FAMU grade changing case

Marcus Barrington, 24, a former Florida A&M University student who was found guilty in a grade-tampering case, was sentenced to seven years in federal prison and three months supervised probation on the charge of conspiracy fraud, unauthorized computer access and aggravated identity theft.

"Mr. Barrington is a talented young man of promise who had a bright future ahead of him until this unfortunate incident.
