THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Nov. 4 -- The city of Thousand Oaks issued the following news release:

Veteran's Day marks a day of special recognition for our men and women who have served in the United Sates armed services. Throughout our nation's history many have bravely served, and sadly, many have given their lives. The City of Thousand Oaks Military Services Journal honors our residents and their immediate family members for their service.
