ATTORNEY GENERAL AGENTS ARREST 21 OUT OF 31 SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS IN NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY

SHAMOKIN, Pa., Oct. 5 -- The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office issued the following news release:
More than 60 narcotics agents, drug task force officers and local law enforcement today fanned out across Northumberland County and have arrested 21 out of 31 suspected drug dealers as part of a street-level sweep.
Attorney General Tom Corbett said that the investigation focused on the import and distribution of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and various prescription drugs in the Northumberland County area, specifically in Shamokin and Coal Township.
