ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 8 -- Walter Blom, Hillegom, Netherlands, has developed a veronica plant named `Baby Blue`. The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. PP20,198 on Aug. 4.

The patent has been assigned to Compass Plants B.V., Hillegom.
