Four Global Warming Questions
In Gary Whittenberger's article on global warming in Vol. 14, No. 4 ("Misleading by Petition"), he complains that 31,072 scientists have signed a petition (www.petitionproject.org) that expresses skepticism of global warming cataclysm. In the interest of advancing science, Mr. Whittenberger could do us all a favor by answering these simple public policy questions:
1. What is the optimum global temperature?
2. Who determined the optimum global temperature?
3. What cost-benefit studies have been conducted for the consequences of global temperatures going over the ...
