BALTIMORE, March 4 -- The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued the following press release:

A Phoenix, Md., horse farm will pay $180,000 and furnish substantial remedial relief to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

According to EEOC's suit (RDB 08-CV-0259), filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Northern Division, Fitzhugh, LLC, which operates Fitzhugh Farm, engaged in the sexual harassment of Lindsay Donovan while she was employed as a farmhand. The ...
