We are burning, burning, burning in the night, wrote American novelist Thomas Clayton Wolfe.
OK, Wolfe didn't mean it literally. He was talking about the human condition, not fire logs.
But the description could apply to the new Power Log developed by Kevin Lumb of Brandon. The thing never goes out.
One fire log will burn up to 15 hours, according to testing by OMNI Environmental Services in Beaverton, Ore.
"That's why we're calling it the 10-hour power log. We're being conservative," Lumb said.
