Imatinib: First report of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion: case report

A 29-year-old woman with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) developed inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) after imatinib was added to her chemotherapy regimen.

Following the diagnosis of B-cell precursor ALL, the woman initially received therapy with dexamethasone, cyclophosphamide, allopurinol and methotrexate before commencing induction therapy with dexamethasone, vincristine and idarubicin; she also received filgrastim.
