California Inventor Develops Intensity Saturation Detection Appratus

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 15 -- Michael L. Gough of Ben Lomond, Calif., has developed an apparatus for detecting camera sensor intensity saturation.

The patent has been assigned to G&H Nevada-Tek, Los Altos, Calif.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for detecting intensity saturation of a light sensor includes monitoring an electrical signal from a light sensor for detecting an intensity saturation condition of at least one pixel of the light sensor, converting the electrical signal to a digital signal, imposing a reserved bit combination ...
