WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 -- Rep. Barbara Lee, D-California, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 1520) "commending the Kingdom of Morocco for designating a `National Women's Day' to be observed each year on Oct. 10."

The resolution was introduced on Sept. 29. It was referred to the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
