British Inventors Develop Cyclopean Virtual Imaging System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 25 -- Andrew Blake of Stapleford, Great Britain, Philip H. S. Torr of Cambridge, Great Britain, and Ingemar J. Cox of London, have developed a cyclopean virtual imaging method.

According to the abstract released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cyclopean virtual imaging system provides a view from a virtual camera placed symmetrically or midway between the calibrated cameras of a physical stereo pair.
