South Korean Inventors Develop Magnetic Flux Disconnection Prevention Brushless Motor

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- Sang Hoon Park, Sang Yong An, Yun Seok Kim and Bum Young Byun, all from Suwon-Si, South Korea, Hyung Chul Lee of Gunpo-Si, South Korea, and Chun Mo Sung of Hwasung-Si, South Korea, have developed a motor for preventing magnetic flux disconnection.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A brushless direct current motor prevents disconnection of a magnetic flux and to minimize leakage of the magnetic flux, thereby reducing torque ripple.
