Australian Inventor Develops Scaevola Plant Named SCAX0226
|
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 19 -- Shuming Luo of Dulwich Hill, Australia, has developed a distinct cultivar of Scaevola.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Scaevola plant named 'SCAX0226', characterized by its compact, mounded and outwardly spreading plant habit; freely branching habit; freely flowering habit; and violet-colored flowers."
The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. PP19,117 on Aug. 19.
The patent has been assigned to Amerinova Properties LLC, Bonsall, Calif.
