Criminal Records Review

Starting this year, all CRNBC registrants will be required to undergo a criminal record re-check every five years.
The government recently amended the Criminal Records Review Act to require a criminal record recheck every five years for all registrants of CRNBC as well as for many other health care professionals. The Act is intended to help protect children from physical and sexual abuse. The number of relevant offences being reviewed has increased from 56 to 62.
