NEW ZEALAND: NEW ZEALAND GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL TIMOR-LESTE

The government of New Zealand issued the following news release:
Nine people from the New Zealand Defence Force and Police who have served as part of New Zealand's peacekeeping response to the violence in Timor-Leste since 2006 will receive the New Zealand General Service Medal (Timor-Leste), during a special ceremony today.
Prime Minister Helen Clark, Defence Minister Phil Goff, and Police Minister Annette King will make the presentation in the Beehive at 4.30pm today. Other New Zealand Defence Force personnel will also receive the medal at separate ceremonies around the country in the ...
