NorthWestern Energy Announces Completion of Moccasin Creek Sediment Remediation Near Milwaukee Avenue Bridge

NorthWestern Energy issued the following news release:

NorthWestern Energy, in cooperation with the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the City of Aberdeen, has completed the remediation of Moccasin Creek sediments near the Milwaukee Avenue Bridge. Last fall, a section of the creek near Milwaukee Avenue was confined, the water removed and approximately 10,200 tons of sediment was excavated, solidified and disposed. Samples have confirmed that the remaining sediments meet the approved human health and ecological cleanup goals, and normal stream flow ...
