HESHAM HUSSEIN (1964-2008)
Hesham Hussein, president of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, died on 26 Jan. 2008, in a car accident in Saudi Arabia, where he was visiting family. He was buried in Makkah. The 44-year-old father, teacher, engineer, imam, founder of two Islamic schools, and spokesman for Minnesota's Muslim community was actively involved in interfaith activities and was the executive director of Tariq Ibn Ziyad Academy.
