WHAT: Arecibo telescope to observe and obtain images of asteroid 2007 TU24

WHEN: Jan. 27-28 and Feb 1-4, 2008

WHERE: Arecibo Observatory, Puerto Rico

NOTE: Media are welcome at Arecibo Observatory's control room on Jan. 28, from about 4-7 p.m., Atlantic Standard Time, to await images of the asteroid. To arrange entrance into the observatory complex, please call Blaine Friedlander, Cornell Press Office, at (607) 254-8093, or Tony Acevedo at (787) 878-2612 ext. 228, for credentials.
