Letter to Editor - McCrae sorry for interjection

I'd like to reply to the final paragraph of Richard Geseron's letter, 'Fire hall decision a travesty' (Dec. 6).

At the council meeting Monday last, I allowed my zeal for the fire hall issue to get the better of me. When Coun. Margo Campbell suggested those in favour of two fire halls did not care enough about public safety, I interjected: "Then let's build 12 of them."
