The chest radiograph: trauma and intervention

Introduction

This is the third article in a series considering the identification, description and communication of chest pathology within the emergency care environment. Previous articles (Synergy September and October) have revised chest anatomy and technique and introduced a systematic approach to reviewing the chest radiograph to assist in identifying abnormal features. This article builds on these and discusses pathology related to significant chest trauma and common interventions.
