WASHINGTON: Salmon Rule for Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands Amended

WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 - The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has amended the regulations for salmon bycatch in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands management area. The two species most often caught as bycatch in this area are Chinook salmon and chum salmon.

This final rule becomes effective Nov. 28.
