TOMINAC BRIDGE-NAMING BILL PASSES HOUSE

Pennsylvania State Rep. Edward P. Wojnaroski Sr., D-Cambria (71st District), issued the following news release:
A bill introduced by Rep. Edward Wojnaroski Sr., D-Cambria, that would rename the Maple Avenue Bridge in Johnstown after a former resident and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient was passed today by the House of Representatives.
The bill (H.B. 781), which would rename the bridge on state Route 271 over the Little Conemaugh River and the Norfolk Southern mainline the Col. John J. Tominac Memorial Bridge, passed the House unanimously.
