The Miami-Dade County government issued the following news release:

Fruit & Spice Park and the Southern Cross Astronomical Society will host a Hunter's Moon and Stargazer Party on Friday, October 26, 2007 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Fruit & Spice Park, 24801 SW 187 Avenue in Homestead.

Under the allure and mystique of the full moon of October, also known as the Hunter's Moon, Southern Cross Astronomical Society will guide patrons through an exploration of the heavens using their hi-tech telescopes.
