GUNPOWDER TOASTMASTERS CELEBRATE 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Aberdeen Proving Ground released the following issue of APG News:
Toastmasters celebrated 50 years of its Gunpowder Club with a recognition ceremony at the Golden City Super Buffet in Edgewood Sept. 7. Toastmasters is a club in which members can improve their public speaking and leadership skills.
A highlight of the night was the attendance of Able Toastmaster Theo Berenthien, who served as the model speaker of the evening.
Berenthien retired from Toastmasters in 2006 after a 42-year membership, but still holds the title, "President Emeritus Gunpowder" that was awarded to him in 1987. Before ...
