ABSTRACT -

The small crinoidal patch reef in the Bird Spring Formation near the mouth of Battleship Wash, Clark County, Nevada, has yielded the largest Early Permian crinoid fauna known in North America. Earlier studies of the fauna were based on 535 specimens. Additional collecting has yielded another 239 specimens. These new specimens provide new information about some of the earlier described species and include three new genera and seven new species, bringing the total recognized i...

Is the industry ready for 450 mm wafers?(editorial)(sematech)(Editorial)
Semiconductor International ; The move to larger wafer sizes is, to some, inevitable. Going back to 1975, the industry moved fairly rapidly from 100 mm to 125 and 150 mm, with each transition taking about three years. The move from 150 to 200 mm took a little longer--five years--and the move to 300 mm took eight years. Today,
Incision under 2 mm yields good visual results in study
Ophthalmology Times ; SANTA MARIA, CA-A cataract incision of 2 mm or less results in a stable anterior chamber, yields excellent visual acuity results, and requires reduced instrumentation. "Some say cataract incisions are already small enough, but that's what they were saying when we went from 12-- to 6-mm incisions,
