Kanpur on nation's air map from September 20

NEW DELHI, India, Sept. 16 -- THE CITY will be on the country's air map again from September 20. The residents of Kanpur, especially the industrialists, are happy about the government decision to bring the city on the national air map.

Kanpur was on the air map in 1984 when Indian Airlines started its services. But after a few months flights from Kanpur to Delhi were abandoned without giving proper reasons.
