Canadian Inventor Develops Light Polarization Controller

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 14 -- Louis B. Allard of Ottawa has developed light polarization controlling device.
According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "polarization controller comprising means for generating linearly polarized light and at least one liquid crystal cell. A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a linear polarizer and two liquid crystal cells."
