Mayor Thomas M. Menino today cut the ribbon for the Battle of Bunker Hill Museum, which involved the restoration and rehabilitation of a former Boston branch library into a multi-purpose museum and visitor center that will offer diverse audiences a unique experience of history through exhibits and educational programs. The National Park Service (NPS) is leasing the property from the Department of Neighborhood Development for one dollar for a term of 99 years.
